My Story: This was a father and son (36 year old) full resto project that we took on together. We both have loved the 66 for many years, with my love for them dating back to when they were released.
We purchased the car in June 2010 and commenced stripping it in July 2010.
It was always going to be a full bare metal resto with the plan to replace everything with new parts.
Luckily the body turned out to be in fantastic condition with no rust or damage, which gave us the perfect base, particularly as we had made up our minds that it was going to be black. The complete resto took 12 months to the week where it was registered in July 2011.Every conceivable part was replaced with new or fully refurbished.
